We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant that will provide support to our Production Team. This team member will primarily be responsible for the distribution and break down of our drawing/blueprint packages. In addition, this team member will assist with shipping products to customers, shipping returns to vendors and coordinating repair pickup. The Production Assistant will also work directly with our customers to analyze their needs regarding any necessary repairs or replacements. The Production Assistant will report to the Production Coordinator.

What you’ll do

Provide assistance to the Production Coordinator.
Provide support for the Incoming Repair Process by arranging pickup of damaged equipment or other equipment requiring repair.
Responsible for the outbound shipment of small packages.
Arrange for Less Than Load (LTL) and truckload shipping.
Develop the ability to create load plans as needed.
Breakdown blueprint drawings and distribute properly. Print work instructions, obtain weld procedures, folders, etc.
Verify and match Sales Order data to customer Purchase Orders prior to shipment; verify or obtain customer shipping terms. Identify any discrepancies and become well-versed in shipping terminology as applied to payment terms.
Effectively communicate with internal and external customers in-person, via email and phone.
Track and follow-up on any unresolved or unanswered questions in regard to production and shipping.
Collaborate with the Machine Shop to provide a list of new work as it surfaces in the drawing packages.
Ensure shipments are finalized and the relevant documents are archived in a timely manner.
Assist with shipping operations as needed for Robinson Fans Utah and Robinson Fans Florida.
Generate customs documents for foreign shipments as needed.

What you’ll bring

High School Diploma or Equivalent
1-3 years of administrative experience a plus.
Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERPs), blueprint reading and logistics a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office programs.
